Accessibility
What SpiFi does for accessibility, what is still missing and how to report a barrier.
Updated 18 October 2026. This statement covers the SpiFi website, exercise posts, downloads and dice game. Our evaluation target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Because of the barriers below, we cannot currently claim full conformance.
How we evaluated accessibility
On 15 and 17 October 2026 we assessed the local version ourselves: all 24 published pages and 31 exercise posts, plus language entry points and selected menus and flows of the dice game. We checked rendered pages in Chromium with axe-core, keyboard focus, document structure and narrow views. We also reviewed game source code and inventoried videos and PDFs. Fixes were checked only locally. Testing every game state with screen readers, magnification, voice control and people with disabilities is still outstanding. We can check the published site on its real domain only immediately after the full replacement.
Known barriers
- The exercise videos that were already available before this revision are currently not prepared for accessible use. The HTML we examined has no caption tracks, and we have no approved scripts, captions or verified equivalent text versions. We cannot assure accessible use of these videos. If you need a video’s content in another format, please contact us using the email address below. Accessibility of externally provided materials and destinations has not been established either.
- Linked PDFs have not yet been checked for accessible document structure. The dice labels and the coordination chart’s arrow sequence are also available as HTML text.
- Professionally reviewed movement alternatives for seated use, wheelchair use or limited mobility are not currently available to us. Choose a suitable exercise and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or breathlessness.
- Dynamic game states and the cookie dialog have not yet been fully tested with screen readers and voice control.
Improvements already made
In the local version we corrected partner logo link names and destinations, named printable PDF links and two logos in the project history, corrected main landmarks and headings, provided text versions of the dice labels and arrow chart, and replaced an automatically loaded Instagram embed with a clearly labelled external link. The cookie dialog contains keyboard focus while open. The game offers a skip link, keyboard controls and options for larger text, higher contrast and reduced motion.
