How to get inspired

Two dice, a timer, one exercise – that’s all it takes. Every exercise leads via “All about this exercise” to a description with pictures or videos and to the partner who contributed it.

By the way: under “Adjust” you choose areas, level and look if you want to set a focus. You set the language in the game menu.

  1. Roll

Tap “Roll the dice” to throw the dice.

  2. See the exercise

The first die shows you which exercise to do.

  3. Reps or time

The second die sets the repetitions or the duration of the exercise.

  4. Start the timer and move

A countdown or stopwatch appears to match the roll. Off you go: smile and do the exercise as described.

  5. Roll again

Done? Roll again – or do the same exercise once more.

Your game, your style.

In the game you choose under “Adjust” how it looks: Default like this website, Colorful, Bold, Studio dark or Studio light. Exercises, partners and flow stay the same. Tap a picture to play that way right away.

An idea becomes visible – through a strong community.

SpiFi is backed by a growing community of educational institutions, experts for body and mind and international partners – from Styria via Switzerland to the USA.

Whether individual or umbrella organisation – user or partner: thank you to everyone who supports the project, and welcome to everyone who wants to be part of it. It costs nothing but your time.

From an idea to inspiration for everyone

What started as a spontaneous idea during lockdown is now a multilingual movement platform used in schools, companies and at home. SpiFi brings movement, mindfulness, relaxation, brain training and much more into everyday life in a playful way – digital, analogue and freely accessible.

Idea and development: Tom Holzer. 143 exercises in 8 areas, used in lessons at HLW Hartberg since 2024, recommended by the Styrian Board of Education in 2025.

Frequently asked questions

Is SpiFi free?

Yes. No sign-up, no ads, no app required – for everyone who plays and everyone who contributes exercises. Your own mode for a school, club or company is free as well. Only if you want to offer SpiFi entirely under your own name (white label) will you get a quote.

From what age?

From primary school with a teacher on the projector, on your own from about age 10. The “easy” level helps beginners.

What happens to my data?

You don’t need an account. The game only remembers your settings on your device, such as language and look – your progress only if you switch on “remember progress”. Statistics count what is played, never who.

Does it work on a projector or whiteboard?

Yes. In full screen the game fills the whole screen and grows with it. The space bar rolls and starts the timer, also with a presentation remote.

Is SpiFi accessible?

The game offers keyboard controls, large text, high contrast, reduced motion, easy-to-read German and read-aloud. Testing with assistive technology and accessible versions of all exercises are still in progress. See our accessibility statement for known limits.

Which languages?

14 languages: German, English, Turkish, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Polish, Hungarian, Slovenian, Italian, French, Spanish and Dutch – plus easy-to-read German.
